Man, 19, shot in possible road rage attack in Humboldt Park

A man shot in a possible road-rage attack June 21, 2019, walked into the emergency room at Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center, 2233 W. Division St.

A man was shot Friday after a possible road rage incident in Humboldt Park on the West Side.

Shortly after 10 a.m., the 19-year-old walked into the emergency room at Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center, 2233 W. Division St., with a gunshot wound to his hand, according to Chicago police. He was listed in good condition.

Investigators determined he was shot in the 900 block of North St. Louis Avenue, police said. The attack may have stemmed from road rage.

Area North detectives are investigating.
