Man, 19, named after A470 crash which left car on its side

A 19-year-old who died following a crash on the A470 has been named as Jordan Lee Ingram.

On Monday, December 14 an inquest into Mr Ingram's death was opened at Pontypridd Coroner's Court.

The hearing was told Mr Ingram died on December 6 following the crash in Brecon after emergency services attended the incident.

At the time police reported the crash took place at around 10.30pm on December 5 of this year.

Coroner's officer, Emma Mathias, said police were called to "a report of a car on its side on the A470 by the Storey Arms".

Despite emergency services attending life was later declared deceased.

A post mortem was carried out and revealed Mr Ingram, from Brecon, sustained injuries including an injury to the brain.

Senior Coroner Graeme Hughes said the full inquest will take place in 2022.
