A 19-year-old man has died in a crash on the A465 between Glynneath and Hirwaun.
Police said one vehicle, a white Ford Fiesta, was involved in the crash on the northbound carriageway at around 4.50pm on Monday, January 11.
South Wales Police said the driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene and his family are being supported by specially trained officers.
The road was closed between the Glynneath Interchange and the Rhigos Roundabout for around six hours whilst the investigation was carried out.
Police thanked the public for their patience during the road closure.
Officers want to speak with anyone who hasn’t already spoken with police and may have witnessed the incident or saw the vehicle before the collision.
