A man is in hospital in a serious condition after being attacked in Ellesmere Port.
The victim, an 18-year-old, was attacked with weapons in what police believe to be an attempted murder. Officers say they were flagged down at around 5.17pm, on Westminster Road after the man was found seriously injured.
Reports suggest a group drove up to the victim in a small grey SUV-type vehicle, before jumping out and attacking him with weapons. Police have not yet released information on what type of weapons were used, however, witnesses told the ECHO "machetes" were used.
