Earlier this month, shoppers were overjoyed after we revealed that Maltesers would be available to buy in biscuit form.
If you thought that was good, then prepare to be amazed, because a brand new Maltesers product has just been released, and it's arguably the most delicious offering yet.
Thanks to the snack gods, Asda will now stock triple boxes of mint Maltesers ice cream, and they sound like actual heaven on earth.
Each box of three costs £2.25 each - which works out at a very reasonable cost of 75p per stick. BARGAIN.
Not surprisingly, shoppers are over the moon, and have been expressing their excitement on Facebook.
"Filling the freezer with these," wrote one excited shopper.
Another added: "Omg yes please."
"Out of everything Malteasers has made I need this in my life," exclaimed somebody else.
A third hungry social media user said: "This year is getting better and better but my waist line is getting bigger and bigger."
The ice creams were first discovered by blog Kev's Snack Reviews, which gave its thoughts on the treat on Instagram.
Writing underneath a picture of the frozen snacks, the page said: "There’s a new mint Maltesers Ice cream available from @Asda stores for £2.25 a box, and I just had to buy some!
"Mint ice cream is underrated but very tasty IMO, and here it’s combined with crisp cocoa coated honeycomb pieces and coated in milk chocolate.
"It’s a mix that works very well! There’s the fresh tasting mint ice cream, which isn’t too strong or overpowering, and the milk chocolate coating that actually tastes like Maltesers chocolate.
"The honeycomb pieces add a moreish honeycomb taste that works really well with the ice cream. So tasty!"
Nice one, guys. We'll definitely be trying these, even if the weather in Manchester is cold enough to rival the Arctic circle right now.
