Luis Enrique will be looking for an improved performance from his Spain side when they travel to Malta for their second Euro 2020 qualifier tonight.
La Roja needed a Sergio Ramos panenka penalty to squeeze past Norway 2-1 on Saturday, having missed a hatful of chances.
Malta, meanwhile, arrive on the back of a morale-boosting win over the Faroe Islands, their first competitive victory since 2014.
The clash will bring back memories of the last European qualifier between these two, back in 1983, when Spain needed to win by 11 clear goals to qualify for Euro ’84, and duly triumphed 12-1.
Prediction
Spain are undoubtedly in a transition phase but should have more than enough here. Enrique is likely to ring the changes after Saturday's poor showing, with the likes of Saul Niguez potentially given a chance to impress.
Prediction: Malta 0-3 Spain
