Malin Andersson says second pregnancy 'feels like a dream' as she posts baby scan snap

By Victoria Johns

Love Island's Malin Andersson has told her followers she feels like her pregnancy 'is a dream' as she proudly posts her baby scan pic.

Malin tragically lost her baby daughter Consy two years ago, who was just four-weeks-old, but now she's focusing on her longed-for second pregnancy.

Posting a black and white baby scan photo of her unborn daughter she penned: "Ok, this still doesn’t feel real. It feels like I’m in a strange dream.

"Is it normal that this hasn’t sunk in yet?"

Malin's heartfelt post was met with a flurry of support from her fans with one saying: "After everything you've been through, you thoroughly deserve it all. Believe it."

The reality star outpoured her grief over the loss of her first baby after suffering domestic abuse in a powerful post on Instagram.

The former Love Islander shared her heartbreak in a poignant post revealing how this pregnancy had been affected by the loss of her first child Consy, who was born seven weeks premature and died just four weeks later in January 2019.

She wrote: "It isn't until you are amongst peace that you realise what your life used to be like.

"Sometimes my life right now feels too good to be true. I don't like delving into my past unless it's to make a point & help you all to understand transition and strength - and this time I would like to compare how different my pregnancies are."

The 23-year-old star went on to explain how her turbulent relationship with ex Tom Kemp saw her suffer domestic abuse despite being pregnant, which is worlds away from the stable and loving set up she now has with her new partner.

Malin admitted: "I look back 3 years ago to when I was pregnant with Consy, and how volatile my relationship was then; and how I would wake up each day with severe anxiety, panic attacks and stress.

'With every argument and attack would come the tensing of my stomach and the knowing that my little girl could feel all the pain I felt too."

Malin was rushed into hospital at the end of August after suffering a scare - but the star has confirmed she and her baby are fine.

The former Love Island star took to her Instagram Story on Sunday to update her followers explaining her brief hiatus from social media.

Malin explained to her fans how she started bleeding on Saturday.

Thankfully, her unborn daughter is safe, but the reality star decided to let fans know about her absence.

She wrote: "Sorry haven't posted all weekend!

"Me and baby are absolutely fine but had a little scare as I was bleeding yesterday and I didn't have much movement.

"But after being checked out all is okay."
