Malin Andersson brands Justin Bieber 'disgusting' for April Fool's pregnancy stunt

Malin Andersson has lashed out at Justin Bieber after the Despacito singer pranked his fans with a fake pregnancy announcement.

Love Island star Malin is grieving for the loss of her baby daughter Consy, who died just four weeks after she was born, and got through her first Mother's Day as a bereaved mum.

So it came as a shock when she saw Bieber's Instagram post on April Fool's Day sharing an image of a sonogram and an unborn baby.

The singer didn't caption the ultrasound, letting his followers make up their own minds about what he was telling them - but his wife Hailey Baldwin cleared up the feverish speculation when she commented on it: "Very funny..."

Malin, however, did not find it funny.

"Considering he has such a big following that is pretty vile," she told the Sun .

"It's insensitive, disgusting and can be a trigger for anyone that's infertile, can't conceive, have had miscarriages or lost a baby."

Malin had even reminded her own followers not to post anything about false pregnancies for April Fool, pointing out it can hurt others unintentionally.

"Important reminder for April Fools' Day. Someone's well-being is incredibly more important than making a joke or playing a prank," she had tweeted.

"There are many ways you can celebrate April Fools' without hurting someone mentally or emotionally. It isn't hard to be kind to others."

She'd also opened up about how she was feeling on the eve of Mother's Day without baby Consy by her side.

"You think you'll be fine then it comes you're like woah lol. Even the 'strongest' of us aren't very strong at all. Be super kind to yourself," she advised.
