Malik Tillman Rangers transfer update as Michael Beale in 'clear what I want' message over deal

Michael Beale has reiterated his wish for Rangers to sign Malik Tillman on a permanent deal as he admitted: "I think it's clear what I want."

The youngster - on loan from German giants Bayern Munich - has been a key player at Ibrox this season. He arrived in the summer under Giovanni van Bronckhorst and showed what he is all about and has continued that form under the new boss and got on the scoresheet once again in a comfortable win over Hearts at Tynecastle.

A deal is already agreed with the Bundesliga side as part of the original loan agreement with Beale describing the USA international as a 'very interesting young player' and one with a 'very high ceiling'. Last night's goal was his seventh of the campaign. He's also provided five assists in his 34 appearances to date and has been a real asset to the Ibrox men.

Speaking about his future and his wish to snap him up following the loan agreement, the Rangers boss told Sky Sports : "I think it's clear what I want. The boy's playing well, he's played in every game since I came to the club. He's a very strong player for a 20-year-old and I've given him a lot of discipline playing in the midfield and breaking out.

"He's a very interesting young player, with a very high ceiling. We definitely want him here at Rangers longer term."

A deal is in place already with part of the loan agreement giving Rangers the option to bring the USA international to the club on a full-time basis, and that is clearly something Beale wants to see happen as he continues planning for the future.

Beale added: "We're all on the same page with that. It just has to be activated. The right things have got to spoken about between the people above me and Bayern Munich. He is their player at this moment in time.

"But I think the way he's adapted to the ideas I've given him, even before I came in, he scored some really important goals. Since I've been here he's been fantastic. What an exciting player for me and my staff to work with every day."
