Malik Jackson believes Eagles have NFL’s best defensive line

Malik Jackson was officially introduced to Eagles fans and the media on Wednesday, and it if his press conference was any indication, he’s going to a treat to watch and cover. Jackson said all the right things while wearing his high school lettermen’s jacket.

One of the most important statements centered around his addition to the Eagles, and just exactly what that means for opposing offensive lines. Jackson pulled no punches right from the start, proclaiming the Eagles defensive line as the best in football now.

Malik Jackson said “a lot of my decision” was about playing with Fletcher Cox and the rest of the defensive line.

Jackson went on to pay Fletcher Cox the ultimate compliment, calling him dominant, and one of the many reasons why he wanted to join the Eagles. When asked directly about Cox, Jackson made it clear that the Eagles All-Pro is someone he wanted to pattern his game after.

Jackson seems like a fun personality, and he confirmed that he’d wear 97 for the Eagles as well.
