Tropical spirit Malibu has launched a brand new flavour of rum and it could become one of the most popular drinks of the summer.
It follows a list of exotic flavours previously produced by the brand, including mango, pineapple and tropical banana.
Made with sweet strawberry liqueur, the new drink comes in one-litre bottles and has an alcohol by volume (ABV) percentage of 21%.
Malibu recommends serving it with ice, so it resembles a strawberry frozen daiquiri, reports MirrorOnline.
On its website, the brand boasts: "Taste the berry best of summer with the latest addition to the Malibu flavor family, Malibu Strawberry!
"Bursting with sweet and smooth strawberry flavor, add a splash of soda for a refreshing sip of sunshine or blend Malibu Strawberry with ice for the ultimate Strawberry Frozen Daiquiri."
Malibu Strawberry is only available in the US at the moment, but it should soon be available in the UK.
If you fancy trying something similar in the meantime, the Malibu Strawberry Spritz drink launched in Britain last year and is priced at £9.50.
Eager shoppers can find it both in stores and online at Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsbury's.
It comes in a 75cl bottle, with an ABV of 11% making it the perfect summer drink to enjoy whilst stuck indoors during lockdown.
Those who want to pick up a bottle from their local supermarket should only do so if they are doing an essential shop.
