Maley (17 points, 17 rebounds) hit two crucial triples and grabbed regular boards in a rousing performance by the Opals' Paris Olympics hopeful.
Those plays helped blow out what was a one-possession game to begin the final quarter, with the Lynx running away to win 80-63.
The road win improved the Lynx to 3-3 and snapped a two-game losing streak while the Boomers' five-game winning run to begin the season is over.
Jordin Canada (21 points, five rebounds, five assists) did the heavy lifting for the hosts while fellow import and MVP candidate Aari McDonald (21 points, five rebounds, nine assists) was prolific for the Lynx.
Emily Potter had 16 points and eight rebounds while Miela Goodchild added 15 points in the statement win.
Meanwhile, two close round-five losses have hurt Adelaide, particularly Saturday's 70-65 overtime loss at home to Bendigo Spirit.
