Coalition Forces Spokesman Colonel Turki al-Maleki said that Saudi Arabia is of the most world countries subject to ballistic missiles.

The fact that four high-population cities inside a country were targeted at the same time is a rare case in the military history.

During an interview with Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper, the colonel said that the coalition states presented sufficient evidence to the UN and international community, condemning Iran. He added that it is a legit right to respond on Iran but in a manner that complies with the international law and the UN charter.

Not only Saudi Arabia is facing the danger of these militias, but the whole world is facing the same danger, he said, adding that Saudi Arabia is now defying this danger and tomorrow other states will do so.

Responding to a question on the location from were the seven missiles were launched, he replied that all missiles were launched from Saada.

The coalition has been working since the beginning on four tracks: political which is the best solution for any crisis, economic and humanitarian through relief aid to the Yemenis and finally the military solution. \

Maleki added that the coalition is operating militarily in order to serve the political decision and achieve the goals.

Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper asked what would have been the fate of Yemen if the coalition didn’t intervene. Maleki responded that the coalition maintained the state symbolism, represented in Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi – however if the the government was ousted then there would have been another sample of the Lebanese “Hezbollah” on the Saudi border, the Red Sea and Bab-el-Mandeb.
