Male jogger sexually assaulted after being forced into back seat of another man's car, police say

Police are investigating the sexual assault of a male jogger who was forced into the back seat of a car in a suburb south-west of Adelaide last night.

Police said the man reported that he was jogging along Clark Avenue, in Glandore, between 10:20pm and 11:20pm last night, when he was grabbed by another man.

He was then forced into the back seat of a white car that was parked on the street.

Once inside the car, the man was sexually assaulted, police say.

The victim was then able to get out of the car and alerted police to the incident.

The suspect has been described as being of Caucasian appearance with a large build, 185 centimetres tall with dark brown/light grey hair that was thinning on top.

He was also described as having a short scruffy beard, crooked front teeth and he spoke with an Australian accent.

The vehicle the man was forced into was described as a newer model white Holden Commodore with black registration plates and white characters.

Detectives are asking anyone with information that may assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Police are also appealing for any mobile phone, CCTV or dashcam footage from motorists travelling on Clark Avenue and Cross Road around the time of the incident.
