Maldives resort is offering a free two-week trip to look after their turtles

Fancy a free trip to the Maldives to spend your time hanging out with turtles and chilling on the beach?

Well, that's exactly what the luxurious Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu resort is offering as part of a two-week internship looking after the island's rescue turtles.

In fact, they will cover your return flights (in Economy), accommodation and meals.

In fact, you'll be staying in one of the stunning Beach Villas, so there's ample opportunity to make the most of those breathtaking views.

They will even throw in some extra perks like a Sunset Cruise, a guided snorkeling experience in for good measure, a spa treatment and a beach barbecue!

The work you'll be doing is pretty cool though, especially if you're interested in all things marine.  (It's worth noting that the internship itself is unpaid.)

Just look at those beaches (Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu)

You'll be working alongside lead veterinarian Dr Claire Petros at the resort's Olive Ridley Project Marine Turtle Rescue Centre, helping to feed the turtles, clean tanks, observe surgeries and interact with guests who come to visit the centre.

There may be the chance to attend rescue missions to collect turtles in need and even release rehabilitated turtles back into the ocean.

You don't need previous experience, although the resort is looking for someone keen to work in a related field.

The rest of the time is yours to enjoy the island's picture-perfect white sands, crystalline waters, or hang out in your own guest villa.

We actually visited the Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu resort last year, so here's everything you need to know about the food, the island, the nightlife and even some of the accommodation.

Feeling tempted to apply?

All you need to do is head to the online job application here and submit a two to three-minute video as well as a 500-word cover letter explaining why you think you would be a good fit for the role.

Oh, and if you're not sure that it's right for you but now have serious wanderlust, you might want to check out our guide on finding cheap Maldives holidays instead...
