Malcolm McKeown murder probe police release CCTV footage

Police have said that Malcolm McKeown was shot up to six times at close range in the head and body.

Mr McKeown’s death has been linked to organised crime.

He was shot outside a filling station in Waringstown, Co Down, on Monday evening.

Today, police released CCTV footage of his final moments.

Detective Chief Inspector Pete Montgomery said that his body was found “slumped in his car” by two teenagers two hours after he was shot.

DCI Montgomery said: “Two teenage boys discovered Mr McKeown’s body, something no child should have to witness.”

He said that two men aged 28 and 30 have been arrested.
