The Philadelphia Eagles reported to training camp on Wednesday, with everyone in attendance, including Malcolm Jenkins. The Eagles star safety addressed the media after practice on Thursday, and he highlighted the competition as well, telling reporters that things are set to escalate quickly.
Jenkins final statement was the most obvious, admitting that someone is going to be the odd man out.
Both Ronald Darby and Jalen Mills are starting camp out on the PUP list, which means Rasul Douglas and Avonte Maddox are your first-team cornerbacks currently. When the team goes to the nickel, Maddox has been sliding inside,
and Sidney Jones has gotten the call on the outside. With Cre’Von LeBlanc getting run with the second-team unit, things are set until Darby and Mills return.
