Malala Yousafzai makes first Pakistan return since Taliban attack

Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai has returned to Pakistan for the first time since she was shot by Taliban gunmen six years ago. She was attacked because of her support for girls' education in her country.

She was then treated in the UK, where she continued schooling and enrolled at Oxford University. She rose to prominence after campaigning for education and travelling the world to support local advocacy groups.

In 2014, she won the Nobel Peace Prize - the youngest ever to do so - at the age of 17.
