Malahide to face water disruptions for a large part of the day tomorrow

A north Dublin area will be without water for a large part of the day tomorrow.

A planned water outage will be taking place in Malahide on Tuesday, according to Fingal County Council.

Residents will not get any water throughout the day in the areas of Castleway, Connolly Ave/Cresc., Hazelbrook, Kinsealy Lane, Sleepy Hollow.

The outage will start at 8am and will continue until 6 pm and Irish Water is aware of the outage, a spokesperson for the council said.

They said: “Planned water outage in Malahide, Tuesday September 3 2019 to carry out essential maintenance - Water off between 8am - 6pm (approx.)

“Areas affected: Castleway, Connolly Ave/Cresc., Hazelbrook, Kinsealy Lane, Sleepy Hollow.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this disruption. Irish Water is aware of the outage.”

The news comes just a couple of days after a large area of Swords faced water outages due to a water main burst.
