An Edinburgh deli has released a mouthwatering selection of miniature hotdogs for you to snack on during lockdown.
The Mako Deli are already known for their other tasty treats such as charcuterie and grazing boards, but have now decided to introduce something new to their menu.
The mini hotdogs are made with five different types of sausage, from smoked park to a turkey frankfuter and even a traditional Polish variant.
Popped into a fresh roll, the meats are topped with a huge selection of toppings, from some more traditional flavours to some other quite unique combinations.
These include:
- Crispy sauerkraut with caraway and onion
- Gherkins with mustard, carrots and leeks
- Sweet and sour crispy pickled beetroot slaw
- Garlic, ginger, fresh chili and carrot with fish sauce and toasted sesame
However, the topping that caught our eye was the Japanese and German fusion that includes the hotdog alongside fresh cabbage, red onion, peppers, sweet chili sauce and Ramen noodles.
Based near Gilmerton, the hot dog selection can be ordered online from the deli and delivered to all surrounding areas.
