Making the case: Is Carson Wentz really back?

2016 quarterback week rolls on here at Touchdown Wire.

Already this weekend we’ve outlined how Dak Prescott is playing the best football of his career. We’ve also made the case that Jared Goff is playing the worst.

Now it is time to look at the quarterback drafted second overall: Carson Wentz.

When the Philadelphia Eagles traded Wentz to the Indianapolis Colts, the case was made by some — okay yours truly — that Frank Reich might be the ideal coach to repair the broken quarterback. Because let’s be clear, Wentz had not regressed by the end of his time in the City of Brotherly Love, it was a complete collapse. He looked much like the worst version of himself while on campus in Fargo, and not like the passer he was as a rookie. He was making the kinds of mistakes that led many to question him coming out of North Dakota State.

But has Reich already done the impossible, and brought Wentz back from the brink?

Let’s try and answer that question, looking at both potential answers.
