One massive problem for those who wear makeup and pale clothing is the chance of transferring makeup onto the fabric.
As well as being not the best look, it can also be a pain to wash out of lighter-coloured clothing. Thankfully a TikTok user has tested a hack which went viral for just how successful it was.
Make-up artist Rachel Nugent, who has a TikTok account dedicated to all things beauty, shared the hack recently that left people speechless, and it uses just one item that you probably have.

By spraying the edges of your collar or top with hairspray, you can stop makeup or tan from transferring over, according to Rachel the hairspray works as a barrier throughout the day.
Rachel explained: “I have learnt the best trick to not get makeup and tan on my white collared shirt.
“I took some hairspray - and sure it can be any hairspray - sprayed the collar in hairspray. It doesn’t feel sticky, I thought it would, but it was totally fine.
“And bring it down the chest area as well if you want, if you’re wearing it open.”
At the end of the day, she showed viewers her shirt to demonstrate how the hack worked, and viewers were blown away.
"Where has this been all my life," one user wrote.
Another joked: "Wish I'd had this info for my daughter's school blouses. Trying next time I wear white shirt.”
"Life changed," one more added.
