At least half a dozen makeshift Ferris wheels have popped up in Rohingya refugee camps in Bangladesh.
A UNHCR Bangladesh spokesperson said the rides were built in a number of camps where there are few play areas for children, including Kutupalong, which houses about 600,000 people.
"The kids are really, really enjoying them, they sound a bit creaky to me though," said Julia Brothwell of the British Red Cross in a video.
Ms Brothwell said the hand-powered wheels were built by members of the local community.
The rides appeared during a break in monsoon rains that have wreaked havoc on Rohingya refugee camps in Bangladesh.
Heavy rain in Cox's Bazar caused destruction and mudslides to camps where hundreds of thousands of refugees are living.
At least three people died and some 2,000 were displaced, ReliefWeb said.
The weather continues to pose health and other risks to refugees, particularly women and children, according to ReliefWeb.
June 20 is World Refugee Day, which commemorates the perseverance and plight of millions of refugees.
