The team news is in, and some Liverpool fans are in disbelief about one decision Jurgen Klopp has made for the game against Tottenham.
The Reds face Mauricio Pochettino's men at Anfield this afternoon (Sunday), with the Premier League leaders looking to restore their six-point advantage at the top of the table with a victory against Spurs .
But some Liverpool fans are concerned about the presence of one player in the starting line-up , with Dejan Lovren starting ahead of Joe Gomez at the heart of the Reds defence, alongside Virgil van Dijk.
The Croatian has been handed another opportunity in the defence in the absence of Joel Matip, with Lovren lining up alongside van Dijk, Andrew Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold in a back four for the hosts.
However, his inclusion has got Liverpool and Spurs fans talking, with Lovren having previously endured a couple of difficult encounters against Spurs striker Harry Kane.
Back in October 2017, Lovren had an afternoon to forget as Spurs thrashed Liverpool 4-1 at Wembley in the Premier League, with Harry Kane netting twice in a thumping win for the Lilywhites.
Lovren was substituted in that match by Klopp as Tottenham ran riot against the Reds.
The Croatian then had another difficult game up against Kane last year as the Spurs striker scored for England against Croatia in the UEFA Nations League, with Gareth Southgate's side winning 2-1.
