Make your own Quality Street tin is back at John Lewis for Christmas

Most of us are still in denial over the fact Christmas is less than three months away, but clearly no one has passed that message on to the high street.

Shops are packed with gift ideas, decorations and festive food presumably so the super-organised among us can be all ready for Christmas by December 1.

One retailer clearly ready to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year is John Lewis, who have kitted out their Cribbs Causeway store with everything you could possibly need for a merry Christmas.

Most importantly that means the make your own Quality Street tin is back for a second year.

The slight catch is that you have to choose at least three different sweets and can’t just fill your tub with only one choice, but unless you're incredibly picky, the chances are that there are at least three among the 12 that you're fond of.

And you can add Quality Street's brand new flavour, Crispy Truffle Bite.

It is in more stores than last year (17 in total) and you can personalise the tin with someone's name to make the perfect present.

The 1.2kg tins cost £12, which is about £5 more than a regular tin at this size and it is £15 for a personalised tin filled with your favourite flavours.

But you can reuse last year's tin, if you have it lurking at the back of the cupboard, for £10.
