Make your own Jade Jagger bracelet

You will need: a ribbon long enough to go twice round your wrist and tie in a bow, safety pins and a selection of charms, beads or trinkets with fixings that mean they can attach to the safety pins. Photograph: Katherine Rose

If the ribbon is a wide one, fold it in half Photograph: Katherine Rose

Stick one safety pin through the end of the ribbon to stop the others sliding off and to secure the fold Photograph: Katherine Rose

Thread your charms onto some or all of the safety pins, depending on how many you have, and then slide the pins onto the ribbon Photograph: Katherine Rose

The charms can sit at the top or bottom of the pins so they hang well on the bracelet Photograph: Katherine Rose
