Make-up obsessed youngster makes her mum spit her tea out thanks to DIY pedicure

Little Maya Trainer is, according to mum Julie, obsessed with make-up - and has an eye for an unconventional look.

She has a particular fondness for stick-on nails, and took this love to the next level.

The seven-year-old, from Motherwell, recently caused Julie to spit out her tea after using a set of fake nails to very dramatic effect - by applying them to her toes.

After showing off her bizarre creation to her mum, Julie was left in stitches and took to Facebook to share her daughter's antics.

Julie told the Daily Record: "She's a typical girl who loves make up and is fake nail daft.

"Maya loves the little stick on ones. I'm constantly asked to hold them in place if they fall off.

"She got a new set of four the other day and has them on constantly, but came down this morning with them on her feet!

"She came strutting in, struck a pose and tapped them off the laminate flooring.

"I couldn't breathe for laughing and spat out my morning cup of tea!"

Maya's DIY pedicure left other Facebook users tickled pink, after Jukie posted photos with the caption: "Anyone else have a crazy child!?".

One user replied: "Brilliant, at least she’s got a great imagination!"

While another said: "Awww f*****g hell, I’m greeting. This is brilliant."

And a third posted: "This has made my day!"
