Make the best of the warmer weather today

The Met Office forecast for today (Sunday) is for the weather to remain largely dry with sunny spells.

While yesterday turned out to be breezy and cooler than expected under cloudy skies, today has started with plenty of sunshine. Cloud will tend to bubble up as we move towards lunchtime. It will feel pleasant in the sunshine with a maximum temperature of 17C.

This evening most of the cloud will tend to melt away, leaving a dry and largely clear night across the region. A patchy frost is possible under the clearer skies.
