When using the brainteaser to put people's knowledge and puzzle-solving skills to the test, eShores found that a huge 75 per cent could find all seven in less than two minutes. At first glance, this brainteaser seems easy – but tracking each one down one is leaving people baffled.

What are the New Seven Wonders of the World?

The New Seven Wonders of the World is a famous group of historic, man-made constructions chosen by a worldwide poll. The New Seven Wonders were established due to many of the Ancient Wonders of the World no longer being accessible, as they had been destroyed or lost to time.

The New Seven Wonders represent cultural heritage around the globe and showcase the scale of human achievement found throughout history and society. Here is a list of all seven:

  1. The Great Wall of China, China
  2. Petra, Jordan
  3. Christ the Redeemer Statue, Brazil
  4. Machu Picchu, Peru
  5. Chichén Itzá , Mexico
  6. The Colosseum, Italy
  7. The Taj Mahal, India

Brainteasers and puzzles are a fantastic way to keep your brain active, improve your ability to learn and develop cognitive skills. Plus, they can be really fun to do and in the long-run can help you crack difficult problems in no time.

According to Clear Eyes, your eyes take in an enormous amount of information very quickly. It only takes 13 milliseconds for the human eye to process an image.

The brain continues to process subconsciously after “seeing” the image. This means your eyes are constantly trying to figure out what they’re seeing and the brain is constantly telling them what to look at next.

Let us know how you got on in the comments below (eshores.co.uk)

So, how did you do with the brainteaser? You may have easily been able to pinpoint The Colosseum, The Great Wall of China, The Taj Mahal, Picchu, Petra, and Chichén Itzá – but did Christ the Redeemer evade you?

Christ the Redeemer was purposely trickier to find than the rest of the Wonders, but the eagle-eyed amongst you may have spotted him disguised within the grey cliffs on the right-hand side of the image.
