Majority launches vibrant Stylo and Folio turntables for vinyl newcomers

Majority Stylo.

Quick summary

Majority has released a pair of beginner turntables in a range of vibrant colours.

The Stylo offers Bluetooth for quick connection, while the Folio has built-in stereo speakers and also supports USB.

Majority has expanded its turntable offering with the introduction of the Stylo and the Folio, aimed at newcomers to vinyl who want pop colours and useful connected features.

The Stylo at £160 is a great starting point, offering a turntable that's approachable so it's easy to get started. Core to the offering is the integrated pre-amp, so it will work with Bluetooth speakers or systems connected via RCA or phono.

There's support for 33 and 45 RPM, with an aluminium platter, carbon fibre tone arm and an Audio-Technica AT3600L moving magnet cartridge.

But perhaps more importantly, the Stylo comes in Blackout, Sol Yellow, British Racing Green, Blue Steel and Oxblood colours - so you don't have to settle for a boring black turntable, you can have something that adds to your home décor.

Priced at £159.99, it's already available from a range of retailers such as Amazon.

While the Stylo will cater to those looking to get started quickly, the Folio is a slightly different proposition as an all-in-one player.

The Folio was originally launched in 2025, but there are now more colours to choose from.

That sees built-in stereo speakers in the base of this turntable, making for a slightly more beefy design. However, those speakers mean that this turntable will support additional inputs such as Bluetooth and USB, so it will handle all your music needs.

Conversely, those Bluetooth and USB connections are also outputs, so that gives great flexibility, supporting USB recording to digitise that rare collection you might have.

There are additional physical connections including RCA, a headphone connection and AUX input, so the Folio is a really adaptable choice.

Again there's an Audio-Technica AT3500L cartridge, with an S-shaped tone arm, aluminium platter and built-in pre-amp.

The great colours that the Stylo offers are also available for the Folio, so if you don't want black, you have the choice of yellow, green, blue or red. There's another option, however, and that's for Plywood, which gives a nice neutral deck, perfect for your beach house or Swedish loft apartment.

The Folio is priced at £169.95, so you're getting quite a lot more for your money, and it's available from retailers including Richer Sounds, right now.
