- David Harbour has joined the cast of John Rambo, a new action film serving as an origin story for the iconic character.
- Harbour will portray Major Trautman, Rambo’s commanding officer, in the film directed by Jalmari Helander.
- Noah Centineo is set to star as the young Vietnam veteran, with the story unfolding before the events of the 1982 film First Blood.
- The cast also includes Filipino-Malaysian actor Yao, Jason Tobin, Jefferson White, and Tayme Thapthimthong.
- Harbour, known for Stranger Things and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, recently dropped out of the drama Behemoth! but will reprise his role in Avengers: Doomsday.
