Major supermarket set to move into popular Kilmarnock shop

One of the country's biggest supermarkets looks set to move into a Kilmarnock shop next month.

The home and garden store, The Range, has revealed plans for Iceland to take over a corner of their Queen's Drive Retail Park store in the town.

Workers at the shop are currently preparing for the frozen food shop's products to be featured in the store from March 26.

The Range say that Iceland products are now being stocked in 70 of their stores across the country with Kilmarnock one of the latest shops to enter the partnership.

The Range website says: "You can now purchase your favourite Iceland products in over 70 of The Range stores.

"Iceland specialise in high-quality frozen food at great value, from tasty pizzas and essential veg to your favourite desserts.

"We also have everything you need for your food cupboard, plus delicious fresh foods in selected stores.

"Iceland started in 1970 with the first store in Oswestry, set up by founder and chairman Sir Malcolm Walker CBE. Since then, Iceland has become the nation’s favourite frozen food specialist with over 900 stores nationwide and an award-winning website."
