Members of the fire brigade were forced to rush to a street in one of Ireland's major cities after reports of a building in a "dangerous" condition.
Cork City fire brigade closed off Liberty Street earlier this morning and asked the public to avoid the area just off North Main Street in the Rebel County.
Cork Beo reports that the site of the building is just around the corner from where there was a major collapse of the old Hosford Bakery premises in June 2019.
Crews from Headquarters are using a hydraulic platform to assess the building on Liberty Street, at the top of the North Main Street, this morning.
This is not the first time there has been a "dangerous building" incident in Cork city in recent years.

There have been partial collapses or parts of facades and window sills falling onto the street on Patrick Street, in Daunt's Square (old Queen's Old Castle Building), on Marlboro Street (where a building remains braced with large steel girders) and at various other locations.
In the Barrack Street area recently - an entire section of lime-stone wall on Industry Street fell onto the street - luckily, it happened in the early hours of the morning and no one was injured.
