Major show at Scottish theatre cancelled on opening night leaving audience shocked

A HUGE musical in Glasgow has been cancelled on its opening night.

Here&Now: The Steps Musical was set to take place at 7.30pm at the King's Theatre in Glasgow this evening.

However, the show was cancelled amid 'technical difficulties'.

One attendee told The Glasgow Times: "When I arrived at 7.20pm the staff were not letting anyone in.

"Hundreds of people were queuing outside.

"It got to 7.30pm and we have just been told that the whole show has been cancelled due to technical difficulties. I was shocked.

"Everyone is now walking away from the theatre raging."

The show is set to run until Saturday, September 20 in the city.

It is unknown if tonight's show will be rescheduled or if the upcoming performances of the musical in Glasgow will be affected.
