Three children aged 8, 9 and 12 who went missing overnight found safe and well

A major search was launched overnight for three children, aged eight, nine and 12 who have now been found safe and well.

Lilly-Mae Owen-Roberts, eight, nine-year-old Lewis Owen-Roberts and 12-year-old Kiya Williams, went missing overnight from the Rhos-on-Sea area of Conwy, North Wales.

North Wales Police issued the missing persons appeal for them at 2:40am this morning.

The force later said the youngsters may be in each other's company - but this has not been confirmed after they were found.

Residents in the Rhos-on-Sea area reported the police helicopter was out through the night searching for the youngsters.

It returned to its base at around 5am, according to witnesses.

Police are urging anyone with information to call police on 101, quoting reference X104620.
