Major roadworks set for Tuggeranong Parkway

Drivers are being warned of significant delays on the Tuggeranong Parkway with roadworks set to take place this weekend.

The Tuggeranong Parkway will be reduced to just one lane in each direction between the Heysen Street overpass and the Glenloch Interchange between 7pm on Friday and 5am on Monday.

Motorists have been urged to avoid the area or use alternate routes.

The road works will see road barriers along the major road upgraded.

Work along the Parkway is expected to take place until the end of month, following delays due to wet weather.
