A road is closed in Oldham due to a serious crash between a car and a motorbike.
Police were called to the collision on Ashton Road at around 4.10pm today (Monday).
Ashton Road is shut between the junctions of Hollins Road and Hathershaw Lane.
Transport for Greater Manchester said traffic diversions were in place.
The crash is understood to have happened near to the Park Cakes factory.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "Emergency services are currently attending a serious road traffic collision in Oldham
"Officers were called around 4.10pm this afternoon (Monday 18 January 2021) to a report that a motorcycle and a car had been in collision on Ashton Road, Oldham.
"Emergency services are in attendance.
"Road closures are in place. Follow @OfficialTfGM for updates."
