A children’s water bottle has been urgently recalled over fears it is a choking hazard.
The major discount retailer, Home Bargains, has urged customers to stop using the Toy Story water bottle immediately and to keep it out of the reach of children.
It presents a choking hazard because the spout can detach from the lid, creating a small part which could block a child’s airway.
TJ Morris, the parent company of Home Bargains, issued an urgent recall after it was identified as a choking hazard.
Sold from May 2026 to mark the release of Pixar’s new Toy Story 5 movie, the blue water bottle has a red lid and is decorated with characters from the film Toy story.
There are seven batches affected by the recall: 11449732, 11449736, 11449737, 11449738, 11449742, 11449743, 11449744.
Only these batch numbers are included in the current recall.
A warning issued by trading standards explains the product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005, due to the issue with the spout.

Batch code information can be found on the care label inside the bottle or on a price tag when it is purchased.
Customers who have bought a bottle with one of the above batch codes should return it to their nearest Home Bargains store to receive a full refund.
If a customer is unsure if their water bottle is impacted by the recall, or if they no longer have the packaging to check for a batch code, the product can still be returned to stores for a full refund.
On the recall notice Home Bargains said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
