Major records broken in Delhi Capitals vs Sunrisers Hyderabad IPL run-fest

NEW DELHI: Sunrisers Hyderabad reaffirmed their status as one of the most formidable batting sides in the Indian Premier League with yet another record-breaking performance against Delhi Capitals on Saturday.

Led by Travis Head's explosive knock of 89 off just 32 balls, SRH posted a mammoth total of 266/7 in their 20 overs, securing a commanding 67-run victory over Delhi Capitals.

Electing to bowl first after winning the toss, Delhi skipper Rishabh Pant watched as SRH's opening duo of Head and Abhishek Sharma decimated the DC bowlers, amassing a staggering 125 runs without loss in the powerplay, setting a new record for the highest powerplay score in IPL history.
