Police are currently dealing with a major ongoing incident in Dundee.
Around 20 police cars raced to Balunie Street in Douglas after calls were made to emergency services.
It is understood armed police are currently stationed in the quiet residential street.
Nearby streets have been sealed off and cars diverted from the area.
It is not clear what the incident is, but locals claim it is a hostage situation.
Police have said they are responding to reports of concern for a person and there is 'no risk to the wider public.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Officers are currently in attendance on Balunie Street in Dundee in relation to a concern for a person.
"The incident is contained and there is no risk to the wider public."
