An 'emergency' closure has been put in place on a major Nottingham road to carry out repair works after a gas leak. Ruddington lane at its junction with Fieldway, in Wilford will be closed for nearly a week as repair works take place in an 'emergency' measure.
The closure will be in place from Tuesday, March 29 to Monday, April 4. This is so that Cadent can carry out work to address a gas leak on the carriageway.
Nottingham City Council have said that work will be "round the clock" until the required works are complete. And that motorists will see moderate delays as a result of the works.
