Major milestone reached at Liverpool's £90m Parliament Square

A major milestone has been reached in the construction of the £90m Parliament Square development in Liverpool.

Legacie Developments has celebrated with a ceremony to mark the completion of structural work on the first tower in development which will include 500 apartments and commercial space across four blocks.

A topping out event, attended by chief executive John Morley and his senior team, and representatives from finance partner RWinvest, took place at the highest point of the development.

The scheme will also include a public plaza with shops and leisure facilities including a spa.

Mr Morley said: "Today’s event was a brilliant opportunity for those of us involved in creating this iconic residential development to celebrate the progress made so far. Parliament Square will have a massively positive impact in Liverpool by bringing a first class residential offer with facilities like no other.

"You can see and feel the contribution it aims already making to the regeneration of a key area on the outskirts of the city centre.

"We are incredibly proud of this development which is Legacie’s flagship residential project in the region."

The development is due to be fully complete by summer 2022.
