Major emergency response closes Bristol street

A major ambulance response has closed a road in Bedminster tonight, May 6.

The incident is taking place on Clifton Street located between West Street and British Road in Bedminster, south Bristol.

According to an eye-witness a man was being treated in the road by paramedics.

It is unclear at the moment what has caused such a large emergency response from the South Western Ambulance Service.

Currently, there is an ambulance, incident response care and police car at the scene as well as a number of other response vehicles at the junction of British Road and South Street outside Compass Point Primary School and South Street Park.

Police reveal more information over Speedwell fire 

Avon and Somerset Police and South Western Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
