The Edinburgh Sheriff Court has been evacuated with scores of people spotted outside of the main court building and opposite the road outside of the National Museum of Scotland.
Officials and lawyers who were working in the court can be seen standing outside in black gowns and suits whilst other staff members and those attending the court today also on the pavement.
Two Edinburgh officers can be seen, one in a high vis jacket and another in black uniform, within the picture as they try to get a handle of what has happened.

It is not known what has caused the Sheriff Court to be evacuated.
The incident occurred shortly after 2.00pm and over 100 people can be seen on the corner of Chambers Street on either side of the road by the court.
Police Scotland and the Court service have been contacted for comment.
