A major development is being planned for a south Dublin area which would see a 22-storey 482 apartment tower with a gym, childcare facilities and a shop.
Bowbeck DAC is looking for planning permission for the strategic housing development on a site at Golf Lane in Carrickmines.
As well as the residential amenities outlined above, the proposed development would comprise of 31 studio units, 183 one-bedroom units, 229 two-bedroom units, and 39 three-bedroom units.
The proposed development is set out in 7 different type blocks: Block A1; Block A2; Block A3; Block B0; Block B1; Block C and Block D.
Two basement levels are being proposed which would provide nearly 300 car parking spaces as well as 1,000 bike spaces along with bin storage and plant rooms.
The proposed development includes landscaping, boundary treatments, public, private and communal open space (including roof terraces).
Two cycle and pedestrian crossings will be created over the stream at the western side of the site, along with a new pedestrian and cycle crossing of Glenamuck Road South at the west of the site, cycle and pedestrian facilities, play facilities, and lighting.
