The Dublin Airport experience is set to be a lot different with the summer arriving.
The implementation of EU Digital Green Certs and the easing of travel restrictions will see some big changes hit the next time you plan on flying out of the capital.
You'll need necessary documents to prove eligibility for travel and the airport itself will seem a lot different in general.
In line with the current European Aviation Safety Agency guidelines, entry to the airport terminals is now limited to passengers, crew members and staff.
A passenger can only be accompanied in special circumstances - for example if a passenger requires assistance.
In order to be allowed to enter the airport, every passenger will have to show their valid travel documents such as a boarding card or passport to a member of staff on arrival.
Queue management systems have been put in place in all areas of the Airport, as well as floor graphics, signage and regular public announcements to remind passengers of the importance of social distancing.
As well as the requirement for all over the age of 13 to wear face masks - except those with legitimate medical reasons to not wear one - 620 plexiglass screens have also been installed in areas where there is close contact between passengers and staff; including at check-in, security, shops, food & beverage outlets, customer service desks, boarding gates, and US Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
Similar to all other public spaces at the moment, there are a limited number of seats available at the boarding gates, and they are prioritised for passengers with reduced mobility, families travelling with young children or women travelling while pregnant.
Socially distanced seating is also in place in the food and beverage areas and signage to indicate the maximum number of people permitted in bathrooms and lifts has also been put in place.
All open retail outlets at the airport have been rearranged in order to ensure social distancing and allow for contactless payment
The car parks are also now completely contactless, from payments, to entry and exit, and social distancing measures are in place on the Red Express Car Park shuttle buses and in the bus shelters.
