Rail users are facing major delays this morning after a fault in the signalling system was discovered on the Glasgow Central to East Kilbride line.
Scotrail has announced that all services between Glasgow Central and East Kilbride have been terminated and started back from Busby while Network Rail deal with the issue.
Replacement buses have been put in place with FirstBus Glasgow for a number of services including Glasgow, Crossmyloof, Pollokshaws West, Thornliebank, Giffnock, Clarkston, Busby, Thorntonhall, Hairmyres and East Kilbride.

The disruption are expected to last until 5pm this evening.
