MOTORISTS were advised to avoid the M1 northbound at Wahroonga after a crash in which a bull was ejected from a vehicle and injured.
About 7.20am Tuesday emergency services responded to reports a ute towing a trailer that had rolled over on the northbound lanes of the motorway, 200 metres north of the Kuring-Gai Chase overpass.
A bull - which was in the trailer - has been seriously injured and was in the middle of the roadway. A vet was called to the scene.
The accident caused major delays, but the site has since been cleared and traffic has started to return to normal.
