Emergency services rushed to the M50 earlier after a truck overturned during busy traffic this morning.
The incident on the M50/M1 interchange close to the Dublin Port Tunnel forced an entire lane to be closed for almost two hours.
The truck in question ended up on its side at around 11am, at which point the Dublin Fire Brigade responded.
And in an update posted just after 12.30pm, DFB said:
"We're just finishing up on scene at the #M50 #M1 interchange collision. Recovery still to take place, expect continued delays. Thanks for your patience"
It was one of many road incidents to have taken place today.
On the M7 at Naas, emergency services responded after a car went on fire between Junction 9 and Junction 10.
The incident is being dealt with and delays are expected.
