Commuters are facing major delays on the approach to the Kingston Bridge this morning following a crash.
The incident occurred at around 7.10am on the eastbound carriageway of the busy M8 route .
Emergency services are in attendance at the scene of the crash and one lane has been closed following the crash.
Traffic Scotland has warned motorists that delays of 45 minutes are expected on the road, with congestion worsening on the road.
The condition of those involved is unknown at this time and it is not clear how long the lane closure will be in place.
Drivers have been warned to take extra precautions on roads this morning as the country is hit by poor weather conditions, including rain and wind.
